About the practice
WillowMed is a modern general practice: three GPs, a dietitian and two physiotherapists under one roof, built by local owners with a long-term commitment to rural healthcare.
WillowMed was started with a vision to bring holistic care to our rural town. By serving the community close to home, the practice aims to support the sustainability and longevity of healthcare services in Frankfort for generations to come.
Newborn checks, school-age illness, pregnancy questions, adult screening, chronic medicine and care for older patients — one practice that knows the whole household, in Afrikaans and English.
WillowMed is owned by Dr Ismarie Oosthuizen and Dr Leané Steyn. Practice No. 1272772.

Rooted in the town
The practice was built here by doctors who chose to stay. That shows up in small things: consulting in the language you are most comfortable in, knowing the schools and the farms, and being reachable when a family needs us.
